Guys , may I have the pleasure to guide you through some simple Aristotelian logic steps?
- Almost to everybody in the modern world could happen in a life time to be fired and not have a job for a while, and you loose your health coverage
- Then you have to pay by your own an expensive insurance
- But If you don't have a job, you run out of money soon, don't you?
- So it could happen to almost everyone not having money and not having any health care
- So if you are sick you can seek for "stabilization" but no cure at the ERs.
- But The Obama's health care plan is costly. Some pessimistic guys with some ties to the insurance industry say 1.5 Trillion over 10 years, which is a lot.
- The total budget for US defense in 2008 was 745 Billion bucks (I challenge you guys in writing it), which is almost 150 Billion dollars more than 2006 one.
- Defense budget means it's intended to be used to defend the country. In the 2006 we were pretty secure, weren't we?
- So if we reduce the defense spending at the level of 2006, we have money to cover the cost of Obama's plan for the next ten year , haven't we?
I guess it's more patriotic to give the universal coverage to all American citizens then buying few hundreds more (useless) airplanes to keep excited fat Generals playing war games with them.
uhm...Where Am I wrong?
Voster semper Voster
